Warehouse Expansion Initiative

The Cambodia Logistics Association has announced a landmark partnership with leading property developers to significantly expand the country’s cold storage and warehousing infrastructure. This initiative addresses the growing demand for temperature-controlled facilities in Cambodia’s rapidly developing logistics sector.

Project Overview

The warehouse expansion initiative encompasses:

  • Development of 50,000 square meters of new cold storage facilities
  • Construction of three strategically located distribution centers
  • Implementation of state-of-the-art warehouse management systems
  • Integration of sustainable energy solutions

Strategic Locations

The new facilities will be strategically positioned in key logistics hubs including Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, and Bavet, ensuring optimal connectivity to major transportation routes and border crossings.

Economic Impact

This expansion is expected to create over 500 new jobs and enhance Cambodia’s competitiveness in regional supply chains, particularly for temperature-sensitive goods such as pharmaceuticals, fresh produce, and perishable exports.
